Once upon a time two girls named Layla and Katie were walking side by side.They both passed a dark and spooky woods. In front of the woods stood a sign that read DANGER.Both Layla and Katie decided that they weren’t scared,so they steped carefully into the dark and noiseless woods.As Layla and Katie got deeper into the woods a dark house stood on a tall hill in the middle of the woods.Katie ran up the hill and knocked nervously on the old cracked door.Layla breathed heavily on katies shoulders.The door crept open with a loud squeak.Both girls slowly and quietly stepped one foot at a time into the house.A dark shadow came up quickly behind them.Both girls then saw a dark and tall figure.As the girls got closer to the creepy figure they soon noticed the figure was a vampire!The vampires name was Alexa.Layla,Katie,and Alexa soon became great friends.It was Halloween day.All of the girls were going to be vampires for Halloween except for Alexa.Katie called Layla to ask if she wanted to come over.Layla did not answer.Soon Katie called Alexa,and they both searched for Layla.Layla was never found.

Roanoke the name came from Roanoke people.

Own,Whites men where stealing off of other peoples ships.

Other ships where hard to get because White and his men lost a lot of money.

Killings where problems for the colonists of Roanoke.

Eleanor gave birth to John Whites grandaughter,Virginia Dare.

I chose Plymoth because they had the first thanksgiving .The Patuxet tribe helped the Plymouth to grow corn,and catch fish.In March 1621,nearly half of the Plymouth Colonists had died.A Patuxet Indian named Squanto helped the Plymouth do a lot of things to help them to survive.Cheif Massasoit of the Pautxet tribe came to the feast with the Plymouth.There was all sorts of food at the feast like corn ,turkey,and many other foods.The Plymouth and Pautxet tribe had the very first thanksgiving.

My mom was in high school when 9/11 happened.She told me that she was in a certain part of New York when it happened.She also said that she felt very sad when 9/11 occurred.

My father was in collage at the time 9/11 happened.When he heard about it he talked about it with his fellow classmates.He was also very upset when 9/11 occurred.

Life in 5th grade is pretty easy so far. The teachers are nice to us oh,and I  made all new friends. Honestly I thought 5th grade was going to be hard ,but its not that hard.Also 5th grade is very fun and cool. My favorite subject is reading because I love to read books.My favorite teacher is Mrs.Boo because she very nice.So,that’s my life in 5th grade.
