The Battle of Eutaw Springs took place in Orangeburg County in early 1781. The battle was and still is remembered today in American history. It was one of the most major engagement in the Carolinas. The American Commanders was Nathan Greene. The British Commander was Alexander Stewart. The battle happened September 8, 1781 due to the Continenal  Army inforced a supprise attack on British troops. Greene commanded 2,200 men compered to British troops which were only 2,000 men the British didn’t stand a chance. The Americans won the Battle of Eutaw Springs. Sadly over 579 American solider’s died in that war. Over 882 Britian solider’s were killed in the war with the American solider’s, That is the Battle of Eutaw Springs.

This year for 2017 i’m excited about going to Alabama for 1 or 2 weeks of summer.The reason I go there is for Bible school.And i spend the whole 2 weeks with my grandparents.While i’m there i do a lot of excited things with them like my grandpa lets me drive the 4 wheeler  and let me shoot his gun.My Nana lets me go shopping with her and she said she might show me how to nit .Plus I also get to spend time with family and I get to see my grandparents farm.And that’s why i’m excited about 2017.

I thought the impact on Pearl Harbor was tragic and very sad.The most saddest thing I learned about Pearl Harbor is that allot of civilians lost there lives that day for no reason at all.Pearl Harbor happened on Sunday,1941 at the crack of dawn.Most of the soldiers were not there do to it being a Sunday or weekend.Some of the soldiers were asleep.Other soldiers saw the blimp but thought it was there to deliver there supplies.Sadly it was not there to deliver supplies.The Japanse attacked that day.Millions died on that tragic day.Pearl Harbor is a day we will never forget.

I thought  the book Kid who Ran for President,was very fun and exciting to read.As I got deeper into the book I realized that the thought of a ”kid” running for president was crazy.I mean I liked the book,but I do wish that Judson was more serious about becoming President of the United States of America.His friend Lane was a little bit up tight when Judson was just being funny.I guess I understand why Lane was being serious I mean his ”best friend” is running for President,and Lane just wants Judson to win.Besides all of that, the book was fun and pretty tempting to read for hours.That is all I have to say about,The Kid who Ran for President.
